Exhibition: "L'exaltació del dibuix"

This exhibition displays a large selection from what is undoubtedly the finest collection of drawings in Catalonia. These works span six centuries, from the Renaissance to the present day, and were created by artists of various nationalities, including Italian, French and English. The drawings reflect the artists’ genius in the initial stages of their creations, when they are sketching and coming up with motifs or shapes that will then become the final works. However, there are also papers considered final works in and of themselves, where artists have historically felt much freer to express their genius.
