Presenting the poster for the 67th edition of the Barcelona-Sitges International Vintage Car Rally

The graphic image is inspired by Modernism and pays tribute to the origins of cars by evoking the challenging stretch of motorway along the Garraf Coast

The preparations for the 67th edition of the Barcelona - Sitges International Vintage Car Rally are now in their home stretch with the presentation of the official poster of the race, an illustration that sums up its essence: the connection between two emblematic towns along a route brimming with history and extraordinarily beautiful landscapes.

This year, the graphic image stands out for its dynamic, evocative perspective. The winding motorway along the Garraf massif leads the eyes from Barcelona to the coast of Sitges, with its iconic architectural silhouettes framing the scene. On the horizon, Barcelona is represented by the Sagrada Família and the modernity of its skyscrapers, while the arrival in Sitges is captured with the unmistakable Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla church, a faithful witness of the participants’ arrival year after year.

The vehicle featured in the illustration is a Laurin & Klement Voiturette A, an iconic early twentieth-century model that symbolises the early years of driving. Manufactured in 1905, this small automobile with an outsized personality launched the firm known today as Škoda.

With its warm tones and vibrant contrasts, the poster manages to convey the thrill of the race, where history and the automotive heritage meet at a unique event of its kind. The presence of the Mediterranean Sea and a sail boat in the composition reinforces the fact that the race is on the coast, making the poster a visual invitation to relive the elegance and spirit of the earliest automobiles.

The 67th edition of the Barcelona-Sitges Rally will be held on 5 and 6 April 2025. Saturday morning, the participating cars will assemble in front of l’Illa Diagonal shopping centre, where they will be on display until around 5 pm.

On Sunday 6 April, the traditional convoy of historical vehicles will make its way from Barcelona to Sitges, with drivers and passengers dressed in period clothing. The vehicles taking part will set off from Barcelona’s Plaça Sant Jaume at 10:30 am and make their way through different towns and the legendary coastal road along Garraf heading towards Sitges. After parading through several streets in the town, the vehicles are expected to reach La Fragata at around 12:30 pm. Afterwards, the vehicles will be displayed until around 6 pm.
