Corpus Christi in Sitges aims to encourage participation in the contest of floral decorations of balconies, windows and façades and has opened registration for the contest. Participants can register in-person at Floristeria Isabel (Carrer Jesús, 56) or Floristeria Mirabent (Carrer Sant Francesc, 27) o or by sending an email to balconscorpus@gmail.com, stating the name of the contestant and the address of the balcony, window or façade. The registration deadline is 7 June, and this year the goal is to beat the 25 registrations in 2024. The terms and conditions of the contest will be provided upon registration. The most important one is that the façades, balconies and windows have to be visible from the street and decorated with natural plant elements.

The jury of this contest will rate the balconies, windows and façades on 28 June, and the awards will be given at the closure of Corpus Christi on 29 June. Following tradition, the winners will be awarded a tile t install on the façade. 

The winners of the 2024 edition were Victor Peña (Carrer de Sant Bonaventura, 5), in the balcony category, Javier Quintanilla (Carrer de Sant Gaudenci, 19) in the façade category and Manuela Gazquez (Carrer de Mossén Fèlix Clarà, 9) in the window section.

This year, the feast day of Corpus Christi is being held on Sunday 22 June; the floral carpets will be made in the morning and the day will peak in the afternoon with the procession over these ephemeral artworks. However, the schedule of events for the feast day in Sitges continues after Sunday and encompasses a range of activities held around 22 June.
