Sitges will celebrate the National Day of Catalonia with an institutional event in the Town Hall Square. The main event of the day will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the traditional raising of the Senyera by the local police and the performance of the "Cant de la Senyera" by the Escola de Grallers de Sitges. Afterwards, individuals, organizations, associations, political parties, and the city council will make traditional floral offerings at the Dr. Robert monument. The event will conclude with a speech by the Mayor of Sitges, Aurora Carbonell, followed by a performance of "Els Segadors" by the Escola de Grallers de Sitges, while the Colla Jove de Castellers de Sitges will form a human tower (pilar).

Sardana Dance at Cap de la Vila

On the same day, Wednesday, September 11th, the Amics de la Sardana de Sitges invite everyone to celebrate the National Day with a Sardana dance at 8:30 p.m. at Cap de la Vila in Sitges, accompanied by the Cobla Maricel.
