Musical evenings 1: ‘Lyrical concert’

A special evening given by the soprano, Júlia Alberola Blanchart, studying lyrical singing at the Conservatori de Música del Liceu. We will listen to pieces by Eduard Toldrà, Carlos Guastavino, Pablo Sorozábal, Samuel Barber and Enrique Granados, as well as opera classics.

Musical Sunsets 2: ‘Acoustic concert by the duo Glòria and Oriol’

With large experience in both teaching and musical groups, the duo formed by singer Glòria Freixas and guitarist Oriol Valero, will perform several versions of pop songs, rock and other genres that were relevant between 1960 and 2010.

Musical evenings 3: ‘Guitarrejant la festa’
By Manel Sabaté (guitar and arrangements), Àlex Paco (guitar), Sisco Vidal (double bass and electric bass) and Tomàs Pedragosa (percussion).

This project, by Sitges musician Manel Sabater, arose during the pandemic following the success of publishing an arrangement for solo guitar of popular music from the Fiesta Mayor on social networks. The current line-up of ‘Guitarrejant la festa’ consists of two guitars, a bass and percussion, and the intention is to enrich the project year after year with new arrangements, videos and musicians. The repertoire is basically made up of traditional pieces from the Sitges Festa Major, arranged in different styles, such as bossa nova and jazz.
