Sitges will celebrate the National Day of Catalonia with an institutional act in the Town Hall square. The main event of the day will begin at 11 am with the traditional hoisting of the Senyera by the Local Police and the performance of the Cant de la Senyera by the Escola de Grallers de Sitges. Afterwards, individuals, organisations, associations, political parties and the Corporation will make the traditional floral offerings at the monument to Dr. Robert. At the end, the Mayoress of Sitges, Aurora Carbonell, will close the event with an institutional speech and the Escola de Grallers de Sitges will perform 'Els Segadors', while the Colla Jove de Castellers de Sitges will make a pillar.

On the same Sunday, 11th September, the Amics de la Sardana de Sitges invite you to celebrate the day with a sardana dance at 8.30pm at the Cap de la Vila de Sitges with the Cobla Maricel.

As a preliminary event, on 10 September at 9 p.m., the 17th Torchlight March will take place.
