New route for the International Vintage Car Rally 2025

The vehicles will be setting off from Plaça Sant Jaume on Sunday, 6 April, at 10.30 am and arriving in Sitges around 12.30 pm.

The convoy for the 67th Barcelona - Sitges International Vintage Car Rally will be following a different route to the traditional one. The participants will be setting off from Plaça Sant Jaume on Sunday, 6 April, and heading towards Via Laietana and C/ Jaume I, a change of direction owing to the work to renew La Rambla, where traffic restrictions are in place.

This means that this edition of the event will be switching one of its most iconic images, of the pavements in C/ Ferran full of onlookers watching the historical cars and motorcycles go past, for another equally relevant image, never seen in the previous 66 editions: passing the Columbus statue. After passing the statue, the route takes the vehicles into Av. Paral·lel from Plaça de les Drassanes to Plaça Espanya.

From there, the rally resumes its normal route and continues along Gran Via as far as Rambla Badal and then through the main towns in the Baix Llobregat area before reaching the Carretera de les Costes del Garraf (C-31) around 12 noon. The C-31 will be closed to traffic when the rally passes through. The vintage cars and motorcycles should arrive at the roundabout at the entrance to Sitges at 12.30 pm. From there the vehicles will retake last year's route, taking them directly to the Sant Sebastià beach to briefly regroup before the final parade around the streets of the municipality before reaching Plaça de la Fragata at 1 pm. The vehicles will remain on display in front of the church until 5.30 pm.
