There are summers to be experienced in contemplation, in silence, letting ourselves be carried away by the sea breeze and a sunset. There are others to be listened to intensely: in a piano chord, in the voice that takes to the air in a cloister, in the children's giggles that fill a family workshop. Sitgestiu is all of this at the same time: a time and a space where culture provides a constant pulse.
From the Racó de la Calma to the Palau de Maricel, taking in the Sala Gòtica at the Museu de Maricel, Cau Ferrat, the Santuari del Vinyet and the Fundació Stämpfli, Sitgestiu 2025 is back to offer a vibrant and generous range of options, with over forty activities filling the most iconic heritage sports in Sitges with life in July and August.
This new edition is intended as an invitation to experience art up close, to listen to heritage and engage with it through our senses. Classical music performed by young talents, moving small-format opera, sensory pairings, jazz transformed into a celebration, tours revealing the magic of heritage as night falls, family workshops where play is a form of education...all this combines to make the summer in Sitges an experience that goes well beyond tourism: an intimate and shared cultural experience.
