CEM Activities
The Center for Marine Studies (CEM) is a Barcelona Provincial Council environmental education facility with more than 30 years of experience working in the fields of research, education and coastal management. They work to promote knowledge of the coast and the marine world in order to make conservation and protection compatible with respectful public use.
Exhibition: "The Garraf Coasts Marine Space"
The permanent exhibition The Garraf Coast Marine Space invites us to discover the coastal area and its marine environment, its habitats and diversity of species, the characteristics of its underwater ecosystem, the uses and threats of this fragile environment that is part of the Natura 2000 Network, as well as measures to protect and improve it. This exhibition is complemented by the audiovisual presentation Posidonia Experience.
Visiting hours are Monday to Friday from 11 am to 2 pm and on weekends when there are scheduled activities.
