The Patchwork International Festival generates an important economic impact for the town of Sitges
To show the latest trends in the sector, the Sitges International Patchwork Festival will gather more than a hundred exhibitors until Sunday. It is estimated that more than 30,000 visitors will pass through the three marquees set up on the Paseo de la Ribera at the disposal of professionals and the general public.
The event generates an important economic impact, both in terms of hotel occupancy, as well as in spending on restoration, commerce and leisure, which allows de-seasonalizing tourism in low season.
In addition, there are other proposals scheduled to complete the trade fair, such as monographic courses, workshops, a professional fair and various exhibitions in which to appreciate authentic works of outstanding creators from around the world.
