The 16th edition of the Poetry Festival in Sitges will be held from June 30 to July 2. This year the six invited poets are Antoni Vidal Ferrando, Blanca Llum Vidal, Josep Lluís Roig, Eva Hibernia (in Spanish), Joan Manuel Homar and Carles Rebassa.

Directed by the poets Celia Sánchez-Mústich and Joan Duran i Ferrer, the Poetry Festival in Sitges is a cultural, festive and literary proposal. Recognized in the Catalan Countries, this collective tribute, artisanal and rigorously Sitgetan, has become, over the years, a unique event.

Each invited poet receives a personalized tribute based on the details, surprises and recognition of his work and vocation. Among the programming, the "Reception of poets" stands out in particular, which is inspired by the 1st Poetry Festival in Sitges, promoted in 1918 by nineteenth-century artists and intellectuals linked to the town. The event included the presence of poets such as Josep Carner, Carles Soldevila and Josep Maria de Sagarra, among others who were also received at the station in the first Poetry Festival in Sitges.
