Highlights will include a fair for the general public and a professional trade fair, along with tastings and pairings at the Malvasia de Sitges Interpretation Centre (CIM).

The tenth edition of Malvasia de Sitges Week will be taking place from 29 October to 16 November, featuring a range of cultural and culinary activities to celebrate the deep roots of this grape variety in Sitges. The event is part of the celebrations for the 700^th anniversary of the founding of the Sitges Hospital, one of oldest institutions in Catalonia.

Organised by the Celler de l’Hospital winery’s Malvasia de Sitges Interpretation Centre, the 10^th edition of Malvasia de Sitges Week is supported by Sitges City Council and the Tourism Council.

Small business and Malvasia

From 29 October to 16 November, some twenty shops will be participating in a family scavenger hunt, displaying replicas of Malvasia-related items in their shop windows. Everyone who completes the scavenger hunt will be entered in a draw on Friday 8 November at 5:30 p.m. at the Municipal Market, with the winners receiving various gifts courtesy of participating local shops.
