Sitges is hosting the third edition of the Catalan Sea Kayaking Cup, organised by the Catalan Canoeing Federation and the company Nootka Kayak&Sup Sitges.

The route is a 7.5 km circuit along the coast of Sitges, but there are two options and on the Saturday itself it will be decided which of the two will be run, depending on the prevailing wind at the start of the race. The route, which takes into account the easterly wind, starts from the Cellerot beach, goes to the San Sebastián beach, then goes 1.35 km into the sea and returns to the Cellerot beach. If the garbí is the main wind of the day, the kayaks will also leave the Cellerot beach but will follow the coast towards the south, until they reach the Pati Blau cove. There they turn and head 1 km into the sea, from where they return to the start.

The two courses, marked with buoys, make 7.5 km. Therefore, whoever participates in the short distance will have to run the course once, while whoever runs the long distance will have to run the course twice. In the short distance there will be male and female classification in the absolute, U18 and U16 categories, while in the long distance category there will also be male and female classification, but in the absolute and U18 categories.
