Vinyet is all set to celebrate the day of the Virgin of Vinyet next Monday. Before the 5th, however, this afternoon at 7 pm there will be a guided tour with an organ recital, for which tickets can be purchased here. 

On Monday, August 5, at 8 am, the morning Mass will be held, and starting at 9 am, the Coques del Vinyet will be sold until stocks run out. At 11 am, the traditional concelebrated Mass will begin, where residents of the Hospital of Sant Joan Baptista will be in charge of making the offering to celebrate the 700th anniversary of this hospital institution in Sitges. At the end of the Mass, visitors can access the chapel to venerate the image of the Virgin of Vinyet, and the Goigs del Vinyet will be sung.

In the afternoon, starting at 4:30 pm, there will be a craft fair around Vinyet, and at 6 pm, the rosary prayer and the singing of the gozos will begin inside the sanctuary. The sardanas will be the main event starting at 7 pm with the Cobla Sitgetana, and at 10 pm, the Vinyet day will close with the traditional fireworks display on the promenade at the height of the monument to Doctor Benaprès.
