The Corpus Christi programming gets underway this weekend, with the highlight of the public presentation of the Joc de les Festes, on Saturday starting at 6 p.m. at the Hort de Can Falç. This is a question and answer board game created to disseminate aspects of the three great popular festivals of Sitges: Carnival, Corpus Christi and Festa Major. The presentation day of the Joc de les Festes is open to all citizens and will close with a final competition to choose the person who demonstrates that they know the most about the festivals of Sitges.

The weekend will have a second activity linked to Corpus Christi 2024, since on Sunday starting at 6:30 p.m. an artistic-floral workshop will be held on the terraces of the Palau de Maricel. The workshop is called Estampa & Brinda, because it will be a flower stamping activity with a final tasting of Gintònic de Corpus, based on gin distilled from flowers. This is an activity with limited capacity. It is necessary to purchase a ticket at the ticket offices of the Sitges Museums or their website (museusdesitges.cat), at a price of €10 that includes material and a drink.

After this first weekend of the Corpus Christi Festival, the bulk of the most traditional events begin on Friday, May 31. At 6 p.m., in the Gardens of the Sant Joan Baptista Hospital, the inauguration of the 84th National Carnation Exhibition will take place and at 10 p.m. in the Racó de la Calma, Montse Curtiada López will star in the Carnation proclamation.

On Saturday, June 1, we will see the departure of the three pairs of giants and at night the flower carpets will begin to be prepared, which will be completed on Sunday morning. On the afternoon of Sunday, June 2, once the 7:00 p.m. mass ends, the Corpus Christi Procession will begin through the center of Sitges, stepping on the main flower carpets.
