The Sitges Convention Bureau obtains the "Best Destination Promotion" award at the MPI Iberian Awards
Maria Sánchez Quintana, head of the Sitges Convention Bureau, has been awarded "Best Destination Promotion", an award that rewards the work carried out to ensure that Sitges has consolidated itself as one of the main meeting and congress tourism destinations in Catalonia and reinforces the brand of Sitges as a MICE destination and the year of the 20th anniversary of the Sitges CB arrives.
For the tourism councilor, Brandon Jones, "this is a recognition of the promotion of the destination as a receptive place for MICE tourism, with a solid strategy, in a creative and differential way, with passion and involvement and achieving positive results for the destination".
The meeting of the jury of the VI edition of the MPI Iberian Awards took place on March 20 in Barcelona, where industry professionals met to deliberate on the finalists in various categories, and the winners were announced this Thursday, April 11, in Barcelona, during the Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) held by MPI Iberian Chapter at the campus headquarters of the TBS Education business school.
