The only concerts in Catalonia by Ludovico Einaudi, Hauser and The Waterboys, at the Terramar CaixaBank Festival of Sitges

The musical and theatrical play 'Love, Love, Love' presented by Jose Corbacho and Ramon Gener, and the event Bresh Sitges are added to the line-up of the music festival, which will take place from 24 July to 9 August

The event's programme will be completed with the Imprescindibles cycle, organised by the Department of Culture, to promote the county's local talent linked to music and dance.

This Thursday in Sitges, the promoter Tierra Music & Events officially presented the seventh edition of the Terramar CaixaBank Festival, to be held from 24th July to 9th August. Music will once again fill the Terramar Gardens with the presence of outstanding national and international figures, as well as emerging local talent in music and dance in the Imprescindibles cycle, organised as part of the festival by the Sitges Town Council's Culture Department.

The presentation of the line-up for the seventh edition of the Sitges Terramar Gardens Festival was held at an event at the Malvasia Interpretation Centre (CIM) that included speeches by the Mayoress of Sitges, Aurora Carbonell, the Institutions Director of CaixaBank's territorial management in Catalonia, Joaquim Macià, and the Festival's co-director, Joan Ramon Rodríguez.

The Waterboys, Love Love Love Love and Bresh Sitges join the previously announced names of Ludovico Einaudi, Hauser, Sopa de Cabra, Mushkaa, 31 FAM, Ana Mena, Antònia Font, Camela and God Save The Queen.

The opening concert, by the Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi, promises to be one of the highlights of the event. On 27 July, the quintessential Catalan band Sopa de Cabra will be performing, with their greatest hits and new songs from their forthcoming album entitled "Ànima". Another of the big events in this year's edition will be on 1 August with the performance of the international virtuoso cellist Hauser, co-founder of 2Cellos, in the only recital on Catalan stages this summer with his first solo world tour "Rebelde with a Cello".

On 2 August, the British band The Waterboys, led by the Scotsman Mike Scott, will bring to the festival great intergenerational anthems such as The Whole Of The Moon, How Long Will I Love You, This Is The Sea and Fisherman's Blues, their only performance in Catalonia. The 31 FAM and Mushkaa will share the stage on 3 August in a double concert, where urban genres, rap, reggaeton and dancehall, will be the stars of the night.

The addition to the line-up of the musical and theatrical show "Love Love Love Love", with the actor and comedian Jose Corbacho and the musician and populariser Ramon Gener, will take us on a journey through the greatest hits of classical and modern music in the key of humour and love, also with the Vallès Symphony Orchestra and The Love Rock Band.

On 5 August, BRESH, a global phenomenon that in record time has gained worldwide fame with shows in the main capitals, is now exploring how to consolidate its format by forming part of the programme of the leading festivals in our country with comprehensive shows of music, performance and live shows. On 6 August, Ana Mena will perform the spectacular staging of "Bellodrama Tour". On 7 August, Camela will bring her "30 years of hits" tour. On 8 August, God Save The Queen, considered the best tribute band in the world, will invoke the magic of Queen's concerts and the personality of Freddie Mercury in great detail. And on 9th August, the band Antònia Font will close the festival by bringing to Sitges one of the exclusive dates of their long-awaited return to the stage.
