From 14 to 17 Sitges becomes the epicentre of textile art and quilts as part of the International Patchwork Festival. The contest dedicated to textile art also occupies other spaces with international exhibitions, monographic courses and workshops. The fair, which has three marquees, is already set up on the Passeig de la Ribera to host more than a hundred exhibitors for four days.

In parallel, there will also be a professional fair, exhibitions with the work of international artists such as Lisa Call, Sarah Impey, Laura Wasilowski and Frieda Anderson and national creators such as Esther Tronchoni. The art of fabrics can be seen in different exhibition spaces in the town, such as the Miramar-Centre Cultural, Mercat Vell, Estudi Vidal, Espai Cultural Pere Stämpfli, Fundació Ave Maria and Hotel Calipolis (Sala Arcos).

The programme of the 2024 International Patchwork Festival is also complemented by an exhibition of North American Quilts and training through monographic courses given by international professionals and workshops.

The event is considered one of the leading events in the sector and one of those that generates the greatest economic impact for the town. Organised by the Spanish Patchwork Association in collaboration with the Sitges Town Council's Department of Tourism, the event is expected to attract more than 30,000 visitors.
