This meeting is a great opportunity to reinforce Sitges' leadership as a business tourism destination.

Sitges and the members associated with the Sitges Convention Bureau welcome the participants during the three days. The training sessions and their annual meeting will be held at the Meliá Sitges and the Torres Winery in the Penedès.

During their stay and to discover the destination, they have also prepared a solidarity gymkhana that will allow them to discover the most emblematic places of the town, ending at the CIM- Sitges Malvasia Interpretation Centre.

The annual meeting in Sitges of the International Congress and Convention Association is an initiative of the Barcelona Convention Bureau and the Barcelona Provincial Council, with the support of Sitges and the Catalunya Convention Bureau. This type of conference helps to position Sitges as a MICE (business tourism) destination.

Promoting the Sitges brand as a destination for the business tourism industry is one of the most important lines of work for tourism in Sitges in order to deseasonalise the season and generate activity throughout the year. In this sense, the town remains the second destination in this segment of tourism after Barcelona.
