Sitges City Council will launch the 2024 calendar of activities with 'La Capbussada', a fun proposal that, for the third year in a row, will gather more than a hundred people on Sant Sebastià beach to take the first dip of the 'year.

The activity, open to everyone, will take place on January 1 at 12 noon on Sant Sebastià beach and will be hosted by Ràdio Sitges and DJ Nuria Scarp. After the bath, chocolate and hot broth will be served, the best costume will be awarded, and there will be a prize draw among the participants.

To participate, it is recommended to register in advance, until December 30, at Base Ferran Sports (carrer Jesús, 22) or at Somnis de Colors (camí de la Fita, 18). On the same day, you can also register from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the main entrance to Sant Sebastià beach.

For the activity, the Platges council provides a lifeguard service to ensure the safety of bathers.
