With the aim of making further progress in the energy transition, the municipality starts bidding for 7 new charging points for electric vehicles.  These are 22KW semi-fast charging points that allow a vehicle autonomy of 100 km after being connected to the electrical flow between 1 and 3 hours.

The new charging points are planned to be installed in: Avinguda Camí Pla, 5 (Mas Alba); Carrer de la Devesa, 1; Carrer de Samuel Barrachina S/N (local police); C/ Ramon de Dalmases, 7 (Escola Maria Ossó); two in Víctor Balaguer Street, 1 (Can Robert) and Passeig Marítim de les Botigues, 12-14 (Les Botigues de Sitges). These facilities will be added to those already in the Paseo Marítimo and Can Robert.

Currently, these charging points are free, although the municipality is developing an ordinance to establish a charging price in the future.
 
With this measure, the city council aims to promote the use of the electric vehicle as it will have a wider network and distributed by the municipality.
