Accompany the Movement of a herd of free Horses! You can live the experience of Transhumance in the Garraf territory. We are moving from the space where we have been for the last few months to the winter pastures in Parc del Garraf.

Nature has designed the Horse as a being prepared to survive in the natural environment, and if it has group, pasture and water, it does not need humans to get ahead. The horses of the Miranda Foundation graze freely all year round, at the same time improving the territory, returning health and balance to our forests, and constituting an agent of biodiversity, and a very powerful factor in the fight against fire.

We work with nature and not against it, and that is why the management of the herds is done in the most sustainable way, respecting the family and friendship bonds established by the horses, and saving the high and anti-ecological cost of purchase and transport of dry grass to supplement their food.

You will walk with free horses for about 3 hours , being part of the moving herd. A unique and enriching way to share with the Horses. An experience that connects Horses, People and Nature. Short transhumance and joint coexistence with a small herd of Horses recovered by the Miranda Foundation.

The Movement is carried out for the welfare of the Horses, and to guarantee their self-sufficiency and nutrition. We leave one place to spend a few months in another and thus guarantee the regeneration and health of the pasture and the biodiversity (environment), and that of the equids.

Generally, the journey does not have significant differences. It is an activity where you walk with great agility for approximately 7-8 km. Once we start, there is no stopping. It is a march rather than a walk.

Activity requirements: Prior registration on the web is essential. It is recommended to bring comfortable clothes and shoes for walking in the mountains (closed shoes recommended), a canteen, with water, and something energetic for snacks.

Price: €35 adults and €25 children from 8 to 12 years old.
