With the name of "Portables" in Miquel Lligadas presents at artAmore Sitges from May 6 to 28, a small but significant selection of works of "intimate format", which, although they do not want to be medium projects or large sculptures, certainly have an aspect sculptural. Miquel Lligadas tells us: “there may be those who call it jewels, but no, it is not my claim to deserve the description of jeweler or goldsmith. The pieces now exhibited are an amusement between sculpture, drawing and engraving, and it is an inevitable consequence for me, of the years of work in these fields”.

The opening ceremony will take place on May 6 at 6:00 p.m.

Miquel Lligadas and Pujadas

Born in Sitges (1957), he currently resides between Terrassa and Capçanes, where his workspaces are located. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and later completed a master's degree in art therapy at the University of Girona.He has had numerous individual and collective exhibitions both nationally and internationally in Barcelona, ​​Terrassa, Madrid, Germany, Switzerland, France, etc. and has large sculptures in Kwangju, Kyonggido (South Korea) Miquel Lligadas divides his time between creativity and the creation of his work, with his work in the entity ATRA (Association for the Treatment and Reintegration of Addicted People) with whom he has collaborated since 2002, holding workshops and art therapy in different centers for people with intellectual disabilities, with addiction problems and drug addicts in the process of reintegration.
