The Garraf Natural and Coastal Environment Service and Sitges City Council organize this activity to discover the birdlife of the mouth of the Ribes stream, a small wetland, with the presence of native fauna and flora, as well as exotic species.

The Riera de Ribes and its mouth are part of the Natura 2000 Network as an area of ​​special protection for birds. The activity is free but prior registration is required at medinatural@ccgarraf.cat. 

The Garraf District Council has joined the World Water Day to continue working to encourage and act for an efficient use of water, with even more urgency in the current context of drought and climate emergency; and to promote adaptation to the effects of climate change on the water cycle.
