Virgen del Carmen festival
The traditional procession of the boats will be on Thrusday, July 16 at 8 pm.
PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES
- 11: 00h Mass in honor of the patroness of the sea, Our Lady Del Carmen, sailors and fishermen in the parish of San Bartolomé and Santa Tecla.
- 20:00h, will take place the central act of the celebration with the Procesión de las Barcas. Cofradía San Telmo procession and Floral offering to the Virgin
The boats will follow the main boat with the image of the Virgin of Carmen that will be honored with the sound of the sirens. As tradition marks, there will be a floral offering in the sea, in front of the cementery, in memory of the fishermen and dead sailors.
