Jazz Tardor – Memorial Josep Vadell
With the support of Casino Prado and under the artistic direction of Pinyu Martí, the IV edition of the series: Jazz Tardor – Memorial Josep Vadell, will kick off with 5 concerts from November 15 to December 22, coinciding with the holiday season.
The first concert, which will open the series, will be on November 15 with a performance by the Toni Solà Quartet, featuring two sets at 7:30 pm and 10 pm.
The next concert will be on November 22 at 10 pm with South Side Stompers, featuring Marc Marcet on trumpet, Pablo Martín on trombone, Roger Pascual and Lluís Marcet on saxophone and clarinet, Óscar Blanco on guitar, Ramon Berjaga on tuba, and Gerard Fernàndez on drums.
On November 29, we’ll have two more sessions, at 7:30 pm and 10 pm, with the duo of singer Laura Simó and pianist Elisabet Raspall.
On December 14, the second new addition this year will fill the Teatre Prado with jazz, with a concert by the renowned trumpeter, saxophonist, and jazz singer Andrea Motis. The concert will be held at 8 pm, with a trio including Carla Motis on guitar and Giuseppe Campisi on double bass.
And to close the series, on December 22 at 9 pm, we will once again welcome Retrio with their Christmas concert, featuring Òscar Ferret on piano, Joan Pinós on double bass, and Pinyu Martí on drums.
