Guided tour of the Cau Ferrat Museum and Maricel Museum

Cau Ferrat Museum:

The participation of the leading artists, musicians, and writers of the 19th century in the activities that the artist Santiago Rusiñol organized at his house-workshop in Sitges since 1893 turned it into a true temple of Modernism. He named it Cau Ferrat because he wanted it to be a refuge for poetry lovers (Cau means "refuge"), and Ferrat because of the collection of wrought iron objects he had gathered during his travels through Catalonia. Today, the building is the Cau Ferrat Museum, one of the main museums in the Garraf region.

Maricel Museum:

A guided tour through the halls of the Maricel Museum offers a journey through Catalan art from the 10th century to the figuration and realism of the first half of the 20th century. The visit to the Maricel Museum allows visitors to admire works from the Romanesque and Gothic periods, as well as from the Renaissance, Baroque, Romanticism, Modernism, Noucentisme, and the Figuration and Realism of the early 20th century.
