SANT JORDI – SITGES 2024

FROM APRIL 14 TO 27

Sant Jordi's Day will be celebrated on 23 April with the traditional Book and Rose Fair on Passeig de la Ribera from 10 am to 8 pm. Among the stalls there will be an institutional stand where Sitges authors will be signing their books throughout the day: Ignasi Viladevall, Eugenia Kléber, Edwin Winkels, Joan Duran, Ania Angels, Josep Maria Tubau, Olga da Silva, Lucila Baiardi, Saskia Lange, David Jou, Lídia Gàzquez, Eduard Tomàs Sanahuja, Pura López, Álvaro Sabater, Josep Maria Fernàndez Usac and August Bover.

To close the day there will be the traditional Sardana dance with the Cobla Maricel, at 8.15 p.m. at the Cap de la Vila, organised by the Amics de la Sardana.

Sunday 14th April

Presentation of the book 'Galop de Sang' by Joan Duran i Ferrer.

5th Antoni Sella i Montserrat short story literary competition.

The aim and purpose of the literary competition is to promote the works of art in the Sitges Museums through literature written in prose among adults and young people.
