Route of Castell Vell d'Olivella. Guided walk
We will start from the small and charming village of Olivella, hanging on a cliff of 210 meters, to reach the castle Vell d'Olivella, which has recently been the object of archaeological interventions that provide us with new discoveries about its history.
The panoramic view from the new viewpoint allows you to see the landscape and natural wealth of the Garraf Park. The route crosses the relief of limestone, a constant point of heritage elements of historical, architectural and ethnological interest: threshing areas, wells, dry stone architecture; the fountain, toilets and the «hat of the rector»; the cave of Can Muntaner. . . The list is very long.
Requirements: You must wear appropriate footwear and water.
Meeting point: Plaça Major d'Olivella, in front of La Sala Information Point.
