A scent of the sea
Sitges still retains many elements of the old fishing town with a long and strong sea-related tradition; La Fragata, the old fishermen's quarter, the homes of The Americanos, the Bastion’s Cannon, or the offerings preserved in the Vinyet Sanctuary are a good example.
Guided tours and a taste of the sea
At the Port de Sitges - Aiguadolç Marina you can get to know the Sitges Fishermen's Association, one of the oldest in Catalonia and one of the few that fish exclusively using artisanal fishing methods.
ACTIVITIES FOR GROUPS AND SCHOOLS
After obtaining the Certificate of Fishing and Aquaculture Tourism granted by the Generalitat de Catalunya, Catalonia’s autonomous government, the Sitges Fishermen's Association offers a series of tours that allow you to discover the town’s fishing tradition, its diverse marine species and taste the local products the same way our grandparents used to.
Tours for groups and schools: Our fishermen's communal meals, Garraf seafood tastings, tastamar – savor the flavors of the sea, and artisanal fishing.

Sea-related festivals and activities
The local calendar includes parties such as the Virgen del Carmen, Marina Day or numerous regattas such as the Ophiusa Regatta or the Sitges - Ciutadella, among others.
